Like the wildflowers that bloom along forgotten roads, small town businesses have an uncommon resilience. They're the cafés that know your order, the hardware stores with answers, the main streets that hold a community together. They deserve design that reflects their grit, their stories, and their essential place in the landscape.

I'm here to help you tell those stories through thoughtful publication design, travel guides, and brand materials that feel as authentic as the places they represent.

Designs

Every project tells a story—about a place, a community, or a business worth celebrating. Good design starts with strategy: asking the right questions, understanding the audience, and making intentional choices that serve your goals. Here's a look at work where story and strategy come together.

rooted in strategy, shaped by your story

Whether you're showcasing a destination or building a brand, here's how we can work together.

Your business has a story—why you started, what you stand for, who you serve. I create brand identity and marketing materials that help you tell it clearly and consistently.

Your town has stories worth telling. I create travel guides and publications that capture what makes your place special—inviting visitors to explore, discover, and return.

Ditch daisies are those scrappy wildflowers that bloom along roadsides—thriving in harsh conditions, adding unexpected beauty to overlooked places. That's exactly how I see small town businesses.

You open your doors where big brands won't. You weather economic shifts with limited resources. And somehow, you become the heart of your community—the gathering places, the trusted names, the reasons people stay.

I spent years in print and publication design watching small towns get overlooked. Good design shouldn't only belong to those with big budgets. Now I bring that expertise to the businesses and communities that need it most. The café that deserves a thoughtful menu. The tourism board showcasing what locals love. The heritage business with stories to tell.
I work remotely from Wyoming, primarily with Midwest clients.

My approach: ask questions, listen carefully, create work that feels true to who you are and where you're from.

If you're doing something meaningful in a small town, I'd love to help you show it.
