Most small towns and Main Street businesses are working harder than ever at marketing ~ and still feeling invisible.
Not because they don't care. Because nobody has helped them figure out what they're actually trying to say.
That's where I come in.
I dig into your digital presence. I walk your main street if I can. I sit with you in your space ~ because the person behind the business is as much a part of the brand as the logo on the window. I listen ~ to you, to your town, to what's already there. I sit with it. Let it settle.
I want to understand what makes your place special. Not just what you do ~ but how it feels to be there. What you care about. What you refuse to compromise on.
That's where the real brand lives. And that's where I start.
In the Bighorn Mountains. On a main street at 7am before anyone's awake. In the particular stillness of a small town that knows exactly what it is.
That's where I find the story. And that's what I bring to the brands I build.
I grew up in Gridley, Kansas ~ population 342, no stoplights, and a main street that's held its community together for generations.
I couldn't wait to leave. And I did. But somewhere along the way I started turning off the highways. Parking. Walking. Noticing what made certain towns worth stopping for.
That's when I understood what small towns carry that the rest of the world is quietly losing.~ Realness. Character. The refusal to be anywhere but themselves.
I built Ditch Daisy Design around that understanding. Wildcrafted brand identity that grows from the soul of a place ~ not a template.
When I'm not working you'll find me exploring and photographing the main streets most people drive past without stopping.
